Photo A Day Challenge | March 2013

Mood: Happy Snapper

I have a love / hate relationship with February. On the one hand, I love that it’s the shortest month of the year. On the other hand, I hate that it’s the shortest month of the year. I blinked, and February 2013 is history.

February 2013 presented some challenges that I had not anticipated, both at home and at work. I described the month to a large number of friends as “one giant steaming bowl of suck”. February has really not been kind, and whilst I am unhappy that it went by so quickly, I am also thrilled that it is over, and I can now look forward to March – to the end of Daylight Saving (I hate Daylight Saving – always have and always will), to cooler temperatures as we slide into autumn (I hate this humid, sticky weather that Sydney has been experiencing), and to our impending holiday to Hong Kong in May (this holiday can’t come soon enough).

A new month also means a new list of prompts / topics / themes in the Fat Mum Slim Photo A Day Challenge. I tried a bit harder to take one photo per day in February, but time did get away from me now and again. Oh well, one can only try. It’s just as well there is no measure of success/failure in this challenge!

Here’s the list for March, along with more details on the prompts / topics / themes.

As I have done in the past, I will be sharing my photos on Instagram, as well as Fat Mum Slim’s Facebook page, in addition to the special Facebook group Chantelle has created. You will also find my photos on Twitter, as well as StreamZoo and EyeEm.

I look forward to giving March my best shot (boom boom). Will you take part in this challenge as well? I’d love to see your photos! If you do decide to take up the challenge, let me know where I can see your photos by leaving me a comment.
